Amateur Veteran Football In Spain

Postby GaryR » Tue 22 May 2007 12:24 GMT

Hi, we are a bunch of Ex-Pats, 25 in all, who met in Brussels about 15 years ago, where we played for the Royal Brussels British Football Club - er, 3rd team, I´m afraid. For Nostalgia´s sake we decided to get together for a couple of games over the Cup Final weekend against local opposition in London, calling our tour "Chalice".
That was 10 years ago and the trip has now become an annual event. We normally get about 15 on each trip. Other destinations have included Brussels and Aya Napa. We would now really like to take a trip over a long weekend next May 2008 to southern Spain. Partying and even a game of golf I think we can look after ourselves. But we´d really like to organise a game, or preferably a couple of games, of footy against teams in Spain. It doesn´t need to be expat, but it would be nice. Our average age is about 45 now, so a a Vets team is obviously going to be best.
Can anyone out there help us with sorting out opposition or giving a relevant weblink/email address? Would be great to get this together, so many thanks in advance
Gary

One possibility is to get in touch with Gary at Spain Guides. If you look in our adverts section above, you'll find links and contact details for him in there.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

Hmm. Would anyone in their right mind entrust €4,800 of hard-earned to a company that's so cheap it would rather gravedig a four-year-old posting and dump a spam on it than pay a trifling £15 for a proper advert?
