Motorised satellite dishes

Hello there,
Are there any ex. pats out there using motorised satellite dishes? If so how succesful are they in picking up British channels?
I used to live about an hour south of Bordeaux and, using a one metre motorised dish, had no trouble in picking up the British free to air channels and loads more foreign language channels from other satellites.
I'm thinking about moving to the Burgas area and wondered if anyone had any experience in this field.
