  • Five questions about Paraguay – Quick Quiz
Paraguay, named after the river that flows centrally through it, is one of just two landlocked countries in the Americas. What else do you know about it?

Inglorious Basterds

Tarantino's latest, and up there with his best.

Set in WW2, its the story of a group of Jewish-American soldiers dropped in to France to kill Nazis. As always with Tarantino, there are loads of references to other films and genres - this time lots of Spagetti Western homages. All the acting is superb, including Brad Pitt as head of the Inglorious Basterds (the Jewish-American soldiers). Violent and funny.

Well worthy of its 68th slot in IMDBs top 250 films of all times
