  • Five questions about Ukraine – Quick Quiz
It's the largest country by land area that lies entirely within Europe. And the first line of its national anthem says, reassuringly, that it's not dead yet. But what else do you know about Ukraine?

The Iron Lady

Saw this last night at the cinema. Due to its subject matter (Thatcher), I suspect this film will be subject to polarised opinions - those who hate her will find it too fawning, whereas those who think she was the best thing to happen to Britain in generations might find it focuses too much on her dementia in later life. I thought it was one of the best films I've seen for some time, and nothing in it felt out of place.

The acting is wonderful - Meryll Streep is Maggie, and several of the supporting actors are also extremely believable, and thanks to excellent makeup and costumes, many instantly recognisable as there real life people they are portraying. Its 2 Oscars for Best Achievement in Makeup and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role come as no surprise.

Thanks. We'll definitely look out for this. Meryll Streep is usually excellent in anything she's in, so that's a good indicator in itself.

We watched it tonight, and I'd agree it's well worth it. Excellent film.

I felt it played too much on the dementia role - and her husband talking to her was overdone IMHO. I was hoping for more to be honest!
