New Orleans

I love trad jazz. Apart from the obvious human tragedy, this article also made me think "I wish I'd done that!" before Katrina. I always intended to but you know how it is ...

Interesting article Jayne. Whilst I'm a jazz musician myself, traditional jazz doesn't really do it for me - although I can appreciate it and its home in New Orleans.

Yes, I think New Orleans has changed for ever. It's a shame, in a lot of ways the end of an era - and I'll never undestand just what went on down there in the aftermath. It sure shakes your faith in human nature, but I don't think the music will ever die. New Orleans may just not be the epicentre any more.

Alan.
