And the winner is...............Dave with 9/15.

Mind you, this could well have something to do with the fact that he was the only one who replied!

For the rest of you, here are the answers:

1) Baby, here I am, I’m the man on the scene
I can give you what you want, but you got to come home with me
Otis Redding – Hard to Handle

Or should I say
She once had me
Beatles – Norwegian Wood

3) The indians send signals from the rocks above the pass,
The cowboys take position in the bushes and the grass
Squeeze – Cool for Cats

Everybody seems to nag me

And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair

6) Over bridge of sighs
To rest my eyes in shades of green

7) There she is again stepping out of her limousine
Looking like the cover of a $20 magazine
Humble Pie – Natural Born Boogie

8) You get a shiver in the dark,
It’s raining in the park,
But meantime
Dire Straits – Sultans of Swing

9) She would never say
Where she came from
Yesterday don’t matter
If it’s gone

10) Make me a deal and make it straight,
All signed and sealed, I’ll take it

I’m drowning my sorrows in whisky and gin
Dave Davies – Death of a Clown

13) Know it sounds funny but I just can’t stand the pain,
Well I’m leavin’ you tomorrow

14) Oh, life is bigger,
It’s bigger than you,

That was neat, but way to hard for me!
Thanks for the effort though; I did try, but looking at your answers I only got one right

What a shame you didn't get more entries, Mike. It was a really good quiz and it would be a pity to waste your efforts, so here's my suggestion.

Quizzes are very popular on our main website - ie with people just looking for trivia rather than wanting to participate on a discussion forum. With your permission, I'd like to copy your music quiz onto BE's trivia section:

http://britishexpat.com/category/leisure/trivia/

Please let me know if this is OK with you.

BTW, we used to have "Pub Quizzes" in Chinwags too. They tended to get a bit more response - as long as they were general knowledge and not too difficult. I did one on Thailand but didn't get much response either. :)

Why not have a go at a Pub Quiz? Don't make it too hard, though. :D
