New to me, Dave. Thanks. I concur with the first comment - incredible voice for a man in his early twenties.

A clearer lyrical version was later covered by this old Scot, i think due to his skintight drainpipe trousers in the sixties or having swallowed a set of bagpipes he is totally the other end of the music scale but i do enjoy listening to it.

Your limitations are our every care...

Apparently this is about - or was inspired by - a care home on the outskirts of Dundee. Seriously weird but somehow compelling.

Edit: I spoke too soon - look at the title of this one!

(There's also a voiceover from Philip Glenister off the series Ashes To Ashes - this song featured in the final episode of Series 2)

What a stage presence this band had, in particular the young good looking one.

Haven't heard that for a few years - and I wouldn't have known what £3 5s. was in those days either. Two-year-olds don't have a great grasp of what money is, I've found.

Do you get to sing that at any karaoke bars, Dave?

I would not do that song justice to be honest Dave, i think my years as a choir boy and the acoustics in a vast church space spoilt me for performing in pubs and clubs. £3 5s. wasn't a great deal of money but with the top training experienced it was worth the sacrifice in the long run. Kareoke, Sebastion would be one i would like to try one day, should empty any place. http://youtu.be/gv4Kc0mSBsc
