A small village. Can anyone give a brief outline please? Saw a nice property there.....online that is!

Its a rural village, and one quite popular with foreigners, generally quiet with maybe one shop, no restaurants, but close to Victoria. Check how close the property is to the church - if its near the main square might be noisy with the bells.

Not _that_ close to Victoria - 2km or so? If you don't have transport some shopping might be a pain. It's virtually a suburb of Kercem which is itself almost a suburb of Victoria. But I'm not knocking it - it's on my list of places to consider if a particularly nice place comes up.

Santa Lucija is charming but serves as a 'rat run' for the overloaded polluting trucks going to and from the local quarry several times an hour.

I'd stay clear as the nuisance could go on for years. :mrgreen:

Good point Chris. It doesn't effect all the village but worth checking location of the property
