Moveing to Malta

Postby shaz63 » Mon 23 Sep 2013 18:10 GMT

Hi everyone....I am coming to Malta at the end of November to do a rekkie as I was conceived there,my father was a signal man Norman Jackson and my mother a nurse Marie Quinn.
My dream is to open a small Tapas Bar in a village off the beaten path...I would love suggestions on anything eg Where and Real Estate firms I can set up appointments with to view land or buildings.
Thanks everyone for reading.
Sharon

I think a tapas bar is a great idea for Malta - you would probably want to look at taking over an existing bar or restaurant rather than going through all the planning issues with a change of usage on an existing building, or looking to build from nothing

Hi Mark....agreed taking over existing bar makes sense....but where would you advise...don't want a city...want an off beaten path as it would be cheaper..plus the food will be great and word of mouth is the best advertisement....

Malta doesn't really do cities :-)

I think Gozo would be a good place

We only allow companies to be recommended in the recommended suppliers forum (£25 pa to join, 50% to Gozo SPCA), but you will find plenty of agents by googling.
