Me too!.................but can't see it be it being a profitable business.
Regrettably though.
There are real ale brewers in Malta and they have a web site somewhere.
Anyone have a link..........private board though.

Found it.....

The National Brewers Club of Malta.

This is okay here.....non profit organisation?

I'm sure the managers of ex-pat oriented bars like Gary at The Glassbox, probably Bojangles and Mark at The Captain's Table would be interested in running individual guest beers. A regularly changing range would be attractive but they'd probably not want to commit to a new brew without trying it out, so your friends would need to factor that into their plans. Would they be able to run two brews at the same time - a known popular one while trialling a new one?

I am saving myself for when Guinness open their brewery in Gozo, rumoured to be in 2034 when the population of Gozo is expected to reach 7,000,000.

Ray, if you keep on with drinking all these beers in your posts, we're going to have to charge you extra. The cellar is very nearly dry.

I think I'll have one too before we run out.

Ha ha ha, my friends will be happy with that :P

Well, for me, that's still good news, depending on what they taste like.

Any feedback from the launch? :)

I notice it says Belgian and American Hops, so it'd be interesting as to what the results are compared to here in the UK :)

if they were UK brewed I'd say they are no more than OK, but for the first real beer brewery in Malta, I think a very decent range

There is a free wine tasting on Saturday. Put info in the Lounge area.
There are local artisanal types brews. Interesting... I think.

Well, anything is better than nothing in my opinion, so I'm looking forward to trying them. As it's early days, it'll be interesting to see how they develop. :D
