Food Prices

No, really... it does!
But does it matter more in Malta than at home?

Hi There

I am wondering what food would cost a month for 2 people we dont really need or want anything fancy just basic stuff. If we want something more fancy we would just go out to eat now and then.I know its not possible for a exact amount but a estimate would be great

very difficult to say - how about you post 10-20 representative items you buy, and we'll let you know the costs here. Once you've done that, I'll turn it into a sticky for others to see as its a question we get asked frequently.

I've posted your list in the following thread - I've taken out veggies, as they are very seasonal in price, depending on whether imported or locally produced

best is if you post on the other thread any follow-up questions you have
