Legal Issues, Malta law, Wills, etc.

No, really... it does!
But does it matter more in Malta than at home?

Sorry, I expect this has been covered somewhere else on the site, but I can't find it (as usual). I specifically want to know about Wills, and whether if you own Maltese property you need a Maltese Will as well as a UK one?

Hi Wendy

If you click "search forum", and type "wills" into key words, it comes up with the following thread

http://britishexpat.com/expatforum/malt ... ight=wills

ps I've moved your thread to "money matters"

Help!! I can see I have a legal problem coming my way. I am not sure who (in the legal field) I should go to. Do notaries do complex work? Is there a Maltese equivalent of a solicitor/lawyer?

Depending on the issues, it could be a lawyer or it could be a notary. Might you need representation in court ? In which case its a lawyer.
