Money matters

Cash point charges

No, really... it does!
But does it matter more in Malta than at home?

Cash point charges

Does anyone know if Banco Santander charge their customers for using the hole in the wall cash points? They used to have an arrangement with HSBC in the UK, but I don't know about Malta

I am interested in living on Malta or Gozo in the fairly near future and would like to make contacts as a prelude to this.

AFAIK Banco Santander charge their UK customers for ATM use everywhere except UK and Spain - there are only a couple of UK cards that allow you to take out money without charges - they are listed in the recommended suppliers forum

Keith - if you wish to continue this conversation, its best if you do so on the linked thread, as we can then discuss particular companies and cards
