The new buses on Gozo

at the thinking stage of about a weeks visit to Gozo to get away from the tourists in Qawra. I dont have a car and have looked at taking the bus from Mgarr to Xlendi. Looks as though we will have to change at Victoria (not the one near Bucks House) but it is only an hourly service. Our only experience of Arriva so far is waiting for well over hour in Valletta for a No 31 bus to Qawra which was supposed to run every ten minutes. so how long do you reckon we could wait in Vic ?? Better to take a taxi from the ferry ? Hire a car here in Malta ?

If you are going to hire a car, prob better to do it in Gozo - avoids the queues at the ferry and don't have to pay ferry fee for a car. Do you intend on doing a lot of travelling in Gozo during your week ?

No firm plans Mark- just a sudden desire by "she whoo must be obeyed" to get away from the4 holidaymakers who have invaded our "residential" complex.
