Do you have fixed term deposits with Coop Guernsey, and have been told they will be closed with no compensation for the lower interest rate you will find at another bank ?

One such individual - whose case was reported in the Daily Mail This is Money column - has set up an email address and wants to contact people in the same boat as him. He lodged a claim in a Guernsey small claims court. That would have cost him no legal fees but the bank's lawyers lodged a counter claim to push the case into the higher court where of course if he loses the case he may be up for substantial legal fees.
