Boulders is a hell of an album - almost entirely Roy Wood's work. Literally:

- he wrote all the songs
- he sang all the songs
- he played all the instruments (apart from a small harmonium riff at the beginning of the first track)
- he produced the album
- the cover artwork is a self-portrait

The Guy Roy Wood is a genius, what foresight with this track, he never really looked happy, I didn't realise he was a Brummie, were there no hairdressers there in the Sixties/Seventies?

Great song - reminds me of the chanson style of Jacques Brel. Not too sure about the heavy drums, though. To my ear they unbalance the mix.
