Didn't Rolf Harris' Little Drummer Boy drive everyone mad one year at Christmas?

Oh, and how about Bill Haley's Rock Around The Clock. That was top of the Hit Parade on 31 December in two consecutive years - once in its own right, and once as the theme music from Blackboard Jungle. (We're talking late fifties here, so many of you weren't even born. Sorry).

I was born, know the song, but never thought about it as a Christmas song...maybe i've got it mixed up with some other song?

Not sure, Mike - if it did, it wasn't as a single release (I've checked), though he did sing it on one of his albums. But of course Two Little Boys was No.1 at the tail end of 1969.

And Little Drummer Boy went to No.13 in December 1972, but performed by (yes, them again) the Pipes & Drums & Military Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards :D
