“I took this photo of a party boat on Queen’s Day in Amsterdam. Every 30 April Amsterdam becomes a giant flea market as residents are allowed to sell their possessions on the streets. The canals also come to life with vessels of all kinds cruising up and down, horns tooting loudly. The orange-clad group in the centre of the photo is wearing the colours of the House of Oranje-Nassau, the Dutch Royal Family.”
