“You can find a wide variety of olives on sale at many markets in the south of France. I found these beauties at the Sunday morning market in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue near Avignon.”

    L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue will be famous to many British foodies, of course – it’s where the late lamented Keith Floyd set up a restaurant in the early Seventies after jacking in his three Bristol establishments.
