Interesting, as they said in the article his marketing skills would have worked quite well for him today. As to his actual body for most bodybuilding circuits today he'd actually have a little too much body fat which softens the 'cut' or definition of the muscles. Backstage he had a following of both men and women, hmmm no wonder his family burned all his personal stuff after he died :shock:

There's no way he had a 29 inch waist. He's got love handles in the photo. As Graeme says, he's carrying quite a bit of fat by modern bodybuilder standards. He has the stocky build typical of wrestlers, but looks as if he may have been quite short, although of normal stature for the time.
