January sales! Get free business eBooks (two days only)

Postby Kay » Thu 26 Dec 2013 11:48 GMT

We're putting three of our eBooks on a special free promotion for two days only.

The sale starts at 0800 GMT on Friday 27 December (nominally - depending on Amazon's internal workings, the actual start may be anything up to two hours after that time) and ends 48 hours later, ie 0800 GMT on Sunday 29 December or up to two hours afterwards. Get them while they're free!

As always, if you read the books and like them, please give them a review on Amazon. We need these reviews to help us drive sales. Thanks.

(You don't need a Kindle device to read Kindle books. You can download a free app from Amazon and read them on your computer or hand-held device.)

[Oops, replied in Malta before I saw it here too, so maybe don't approve the other one.]

For those with Amazon.co.uk subscriptions those are:

Incidentally Kay, if I could have given 'Snake Oil' four-and-a-half stars I would, but I rounded down rather than up to avoid anyone shouting "SHILL!".

Many thanks, JJ. We really need to get these reviews to drive sales. That's why there are so many shill reviews around these days. Good reviews tell Amazon that a book is popular, which drives it up in the Amazon search engine, which in turn leads to more sales. Sad really, that dishonesty often pays but it's all a part of trying to do business online.

No worries about posting both here and on the Malta forum. I cross-posted in the first place because there are a lot of forum regulars who never make it out of the Malta forum. :) I was trying to get the message seen by as many people as possible.

LOL!

You can have your money back if you don't like it. :D

Dave is also giving away a book about Brazil - free today (Saturday). I'll get him to post the details. I was supposed to do it yesterday but got distracted. (We've got it in the forum latest news thingy at the top, though.)

Of the business books, I'd say the Snake Oil one is essential reading for anyone who wants to avoid being scammed on the Internet.

The Wwwordsmith one is good for people who would like to earn some extra cash online - or even make a business out of it.

And the Opposing Forces book is really rather specialised although it contains some useful info for the more casual Internet user.

Why not get them all!

And now for the broken record again - we really need reviews of these books to help us make some sales when they come off the free promo.

Thanks.

As Kay says, there's a link to our Eds' Blog post about the Facts Lab Book of Brazil at the top of this topic. But specially for Graeme :), here's one to the Amazon Canada version:
