Newsletter editorial, Jan '14: Flying the flag

Postby Dave » Fri 31 Jan 2014 09:14 GMT

This month's newsletter editorial was all about flags - some of the rules governing their design and their display.

Do you fly the flag proudly as a British expat - and if so, are there any local rules you have to observe? Or do you not go in for all that patriotic flim-flam? Let us know!

flags

I wouldn't dream of flying any flag other than perhaps a UN one. Nationalism is one of the worst causes of international tension. Even the UN flag is beginning to fall into a false belief syndrome.
We are after all citizens of the world, even if the idiots in UKIP believe otherwise. Get rid of all these false elements and lets organise the world intoa better order!
