I know that some guys don't like shopping but this seems a bit extreme.

I dunno why he didn't just "disappear" for a while. He must really have been at the end of his wits if the story is as it's made out to be.

Yeah. It did seem to be a bit OTT.

I noticed after I posted that the site I read it on has a tendency to publish hoaxes as "news". What the heck? These kind of stories can be quite entertaining. I don't think I'll ever forget that, "Aliens turned my son into an olive" headline and that must've been at least 20 years ago. :D
