Man posted himself to Australia

Amusing little story about how an Aussie man didn't have the money for the air fare home - so he posted himself in a box!

Brilliant. But holds are not heated or pressurised. He didn't mention getting chilled, but perhaps the temp in the hold doesn't actually drop too much. and, of course, he was inside a wooden crate with minimal air holes.

Apparently a few months later someone read about this Aussie guy and tried to make the reverse journey. It nearly killed him.

That's quite a bizarre story, thanks. It's a sign of the times that people could even attempt such a thing. Apart from all the security measures in place now which would prevent such a stowaway getting on the plane in the first place, people now have much more information about what is and isn't possible.

Imagine voluntarily flying in such a way. Going anywhere in economy class is bad enough!
