China's weird buildings

I stumbled across this article today and thought it was interesting. Some of the buildings are weirdly impressive but others just make you wonder why - and how they were allowed to happen.

I liked Suzhou's Gateway of the Orient. "It's the wrong trousers, Gromit!"

I wonder if the mistake on the mobile phone building was deliberately put there to give pedants like me a chance to feel smug?
