I won't give away how old he is today.

You know, I felt really bad when I turned thirty. I bet he feels twice as bad as that today.

Alan, your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower!

Thank you all! Yes, it's the big 6-0 as in Oh My God am I really that old? How time flies when you're having fun...

I do drop in to see what you lot are up to, as and when I can. I recently moved into a guest house behind the main house where the landlady lives and I'm sharing her broadband via a wireless network set up. Trouble is, the router is located in her computer room at the front of her house and it's got about six walls to go through before the signal gets to my laptop. The result is usually intermittent at best. On the plus side, it's free although the router cost me nearly $100. I also bought a couple of 100ft cables network cables so she could relocate the router closer but she doesn't want cables running along her skirting boards... Attic? Crawlspace? Too much trouble for her...

In any case, thanks again for the birthday wishes!

And Alan; you can run but you can't hide...

Hey, Mike, I'm glad you showed up. I'm glad I don't live in the same country as you so I'm probably safe.

Hope you had a really lovely birthday, even though you are an old git. Only kidding, I'm not so far behind you. (And Alan is probably even closer so don't mind him. )

Aye, maybe Alan can run but he can't hide, but he can get on his moped and ride, ride, ride.

Good old Jasper - but I have to say that I preferred the B side.

"I can hear you," said Florence, "it's not true. Noddy and I are just good friends."

"Rubbish!" said Dougal, "it's all over the canteen. Everyone knows about you, you brazen hussy."

Oops. Busted. :D
Well, happy birthday again Mike. I'll keep the lock on the door.

And Kay, bloody cheek. I'll have you know I'm 46 years young. It just feels like it's been a very long time.

Oh! I thought you were in your 50s, Alan.

What on earth gave me that idea? Your manliness and maturity perhaps? :D

Belated commiserations, Mike. But it doesn't look as if it's getting you down. Long may it stay that way. I'm beginning to feel that Three Wheels on My Waggon could be a good theme song, but I'm determined to do my best to emulate the Monty Python Black Knight...

Actually, nothing has totally seized up or fallen off yet, so I suppose I should count myself lucky...
