It feels like the weekend today

Postby Kay » Tue 12 Jan 2010 14:47 GMT

I know it's Tuesday, but somehow today had a real weekend feel about it. So much so that we spent the afternoon watching a film we'd set aside as Sunday afternoon watching. Not a bad film - if you could overlook the cheesiness in it.

Do you ever get all your days mixed up?

Ah, the beauty of working for yourself. 8)

During Christmas, I had no idea what day of the week it was, but then I suppose it wasn't the usual routine.

Occasionally I'll take time out or lose track of a day if things are busy.

We don't work, we just mess about.

The crunch time is coming soon, though. Back to the rat race or not? I don't know. We got shafted by someone who lied and cheated and that may have made a big difference to our ability to continue as we are. Who knows?

I always think it is weird how a day feels like 'that' day?! i.e Thurs is and

feels like Thurs??? What is that all about????

But, as i'm sure you are aware, in the U.K there has been 6 - 9 feet of

snow in some areas (and maybe more?!) so cos of that it got a little

strange, and when your routine has been misplaced for a few wks it

really is odd?! When you suddenly can't walk down the street in your

heels in 2 secs, you can't drive to your 'local' supermarket for

your 'usuals', you can't basically walk and certainly drive anywhere safely

it is disconcerting! And you realise that each day is THE day that you

decide that it is! Doesn't matter if it is Mon, Sat, Fri or whatever!!!!!

Good luck in whatever your own decisions are, back to work or not.
