BA flights to Georgia cancelled with immediate effect

As of today 31 March all British Airways and Turkish Airlines flights to Tbilisi (3 per week for each airline) have been cancelled with immediate effect.

Some folks in the Georgian Parliament went berserk and won approval for a resolution that imposed penalty taxes on BA and TK which the two were not prepared to pay.

Only remaining western airlines at TBS are now Austrian Airlines ex Vienna and Germania ex Düsseldorf.
