Hi on the form to apply to pay voluntary class 2 contributions from abroad it say immediately before leaving the country what does immediately mean in days weeks or months

I'd say a month as that has been given as a measure for immediate on other government documents, at least it leaves some room for them to contact you before you go should they need to. I wouldn't leave it to the last week.
Just my opinion.
