Miscellaneous

This forum is for all the jumbled up info about Canada. We've asked that, on the info forums, you please post on the relevant forums, start new threads for new topics, and please keep on topic. Otherwise the info is too hard too find for those coming after, and the already overworked Mods end up having to repeatedly answer the same questions. (If your posting is locked in here, please feel free to post again in the appropriate place.)

That all sounds very encouraging, thanks sawman.

I'm not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me here, but I could have sworn Howard posted a message on here yesterday. I know I had a drink of wine last night, but I'm sure it was there... and now it's not :? Anyway, Howard, we're still coming to Nova Scotia (I think that was your question), and are due to arrive within the next 3 weeks. I note your point re your children, and this is something that we've discussed as well i.e. will there be sufficient work opportunities down the line to keep the children with us in Nova Scotia. It's a few years away for us, but certainly something we have to at least factor into our decision to relocate. It's difficult to foresee what will happen in 6+ years, but we're confident we're doing the right thing for our family for now and the foreseeable future.

Hope it all works out for you, wherever you move to Howard. And please tell me I didn't dream that you'd posted a reply on here yesterday

This is most likely the answer to the mystery of the missing post:

It wasn't the wine then! Okay, thanks Kay.

Sorry Howard, that was probably my fault. I'll keep on topic

The latter part of this thread has nothing to do with buying a car. I'll need to split it. Please stay on topic on the info boards. You can socialise all you like on the social boards.
