Pubs and other venues

Postby Kay » Thu 20 Nov 2003 10:41

We sometimes get postings from people asking where they can go to watch matches but so far we haven't been able to help. Is it worth making a "sticky" where regulars (not people signing up to spam the board with an advert for their pub) can post venues they recommend?

If so, to make it easier for people to find things you could make a new thread for each city covered.

Thanks, Terry

I just reread my posting. Yes, let's have the venues listed but we can't make it a sticky and have a new thread for each. D'oh!

I'll leave you guys to sort out what you want to do.

Ok, Anybody with recomendations can post them up here, or (perhaps preferably to prevent spamming/advertising, PM me) and i'll start up a sticky/announcement (so it stays at the top) in the sports sections with recommendations of places to watch British Sports.

Send me a town/city, pub name, address or approx location, maybe a website/phone (but not as important), anything else you specifically think worth saying, and i'll start a log

This looks great, Rich

I'll put something on Chinwags to see if we can get a wider audience with suggestions.

Thanks
