:shock: Absolute genius - If I saw anything like this on our beach I'd think we'd been invaded by aliens :lol: The last one reminds me of elephants.

There was one in the middle that reminded me of the cotton-reel tanks we used to make when I was a kid - with two matchsticks, a piece of candle and an elastic band.

Love the way their legs move; very graceful.

I guess we don't really get the proper kind of cotton reel any more. I made and tuned lots of those in my time. Also copied the local East Africans in making models out of the pith of maize & millet stalks, pinned together with thorns and tiny twigs, but they weren't self-powered.
