Carpentry Tools

I am considering bringing all my power tools over to NZ. Does anyone know whether 110v power tools are used & whether I should bring my tools from the UK? Would I be taxed on importing them?

230vAC 50Hz is used here, so UK tools are compatible. If the tools are used, I don't think you pay duty on them. I'd bring them over, all you have to do is change the plug or get adaptors.
