Other than using Skype/MSN etc... has anybody found the cheapest way to place calls to the UK and to receive calls from the UK?

I use a service called Access Europe. Basically a calling card type deal that you charge over the Internet. You call a local number here, or an 800 number, then you enter the number you want to call in the UK.

I can't remember exactly how much it costs per minute, but it's pretty cheap.

We use a combination of Skype (got a monthly subscription for £3.39 which gives unlimited calls to UK landlines) and a calling card from Bizon US - which gives calls for around 1.5c/min via an access number. Works very well for us..
