Chris, did you mean [snickers] ?

That's how I read it first time around, before I remembered the US name for a Mars bar.

US name for a Marathon, Ruggie - a Mars bar is a Mars bar everywhere. ;-)

As for Chris's post, I'm sure the double entendre was intended. :-D

Marathon was renamed Snickers in the UK 18 (!) years ago, and is soon to be changed back to Marathon

Oh, well. Never eaten a Marathon - or a Snickers bar. As a kid, I used to roll Mars bars into a ball before meating them - but that was in a warm climate. I give up trying to keep up with today's trends....

Chris, I have memories of Shultz' lawyers chasing IBM UK because someone within IBM created a Snoopy cartoon as a printer test sheet and someone else saw it running on a printer that was situated in the window of the Wigmore Street office. Hope no-one has chased you about AE Neumann...(did I spell that right? Long time since I saw a copy of Mad mag)

Not yet Ruggie.

I'm convinced it was copied from a photo' of me although one taken around sixty years ago. Wonder where they got hold of it :?:

If she were still around my Mum would recognise it immediately.

Strange how, over the years, Wagon Wheels lost their circumference while I gained mine. c.

I back Marathon. Snickers seems a daft name for a a candy bar, and I suspect it was meant to be understood as a noun.
