I can't speak for anybody else but all we get is BBC Prime,UKTV and Sky News on local cable (evision). They are not bad, but obviously not the 'real thing'. On BBC Prime most things are fairly up to date, Eastenders is only two days behind what is shown in the UK so not too bad.
As we live in a high rise apartment it is very difficult to have our own dish, but I am sure if somebody had a villa it may be possible to have a dish that could pick up the satellite, though it may have to be quite a size!
