Music Scene

Just wondering how people would describe the music scene in WA? Coming over from London, where I'm spoilt for choice in many ways, I'm wondering what I can expect once I head out to Perth in spring 2008.

I want to continue with my originals work, but understand, so far anyway, that Oz doesn't have much on the go in that direction (?)
