Bill, please read the posting guidelines. In particular:

You posted this question on the wrong board - The Rose, which is for general chat and socialising. Questions about housing and property belong on the Housing and Property board. (I've moved the topic for you.) The boards all have descriptions telling you what they're about - it's in your interest to read them.

You gave your topic an almost meaningless title. If you're asking for help, it's better to give some kind of clue about what sort of help you want. It's a pain in the backside to see a topic by someone asking for help, and click on it with every intention of giving help, only to discover that it's something that you know nothing about.

If you're looking for specific company recommendations, you'd better look elsewhere - we don't allow free advertising on this forum, so any company names will be removed from any replies you get.

It wouldn't hurt to be a bit patient, too. Coming back in a huff and asking what's wrong with everyone because you haven't had a reply after three days isn't going to endear you to others.

You are right Bill, the DIY stores are expensive.

There is a reasonably priced builders yard in Varna, it is Here

The L shaped building is the one you are looking for.

It is on the right as you head down the hill towards the lake. Doesn't look like a builders yard until you enter the compound and drive past the parked lorries, some of which are for hire with a driver, first you will come to many concrete products on the left, and a bit further down is a loading bay, usually has pallets of cement on it, enter through this door and have a good wander around.

We bought most of construction materials from here, apart from bricks, blocks, tiles and timber, loads of timber yards around anyway, and prices are fairly consistent amongst them.

Just remember that most of the timber you will see here was growing the previous week! So try to buy from stacks that are under cover, I'm always very picky and select my own timber, some yards don't like this, so go else where if they resist.

Hope this helps.
