  1. The photo on Haig road was my home until 1949. I attended the British School nearby.

  2. Hi
My grandparents (Sidney and Marie Hill) lived at 542 Avenue Haig before and after internment by the Japanese. My mother (Mary), Aunt (Pat) and Uncle (Bob) were all young children during this period.

I have been digitising their old photos of pre and post-war Shanghai, but have left it too late to get much of their story.

I’m trying to find more information. I know Mum went back to Shanghai in the 1990’s and their house was still standing.
