1. What is a sunnyodon?
   1. a Japanese noodle dish

   Some of you may have known this already. Others may have extrapolated from the better-known mastodon, relatives of the mammoth, which roamed northern America as recently as 11,000 years ago. The sunnyodon, by contrast, was a tiny mammal, and considerably older – it was a contemporary of the dinosaurs. The “sunny” part of the name comes from Sunnydown Farm on Dorset’s Purbeck Coast, a renowned site for fossil discoveries.

2. Jupiter is the planet with the most (known) moons in our solar system. How many does it have?
   Jupiter’s famous in astronomical history as being the first planet to have moons discovered from Earth, when Galileo Galilei and Simon Marius independently identified four of them in 1610. Better telescopes identified a further nine between 1892 and 1975. Space probes and more advanced ground-based instruments have since taken the total to 79 as of July 2018.
3. What is the name of the family’s dog in the longest running American sitcom The Simpsons?
   Santa’s Little Helper. A greyhound, he appeared in the very first episode, “Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire”, where his owner abandoned him after he finished last in a race. Unlike many other cartoon dogs (notably Brian Griffin in Family Guy), he shows few if any anthropomorphic tendencies – he’s just a dog.
4. In what country do the Kamuku ethnic tribe live?
   The Kamuku homeland is western central Nigeria. As of 1996 there were approximately 36,000 Kamuku (so fewer than one in 5,000 of the Nigerian population), most of them living in Kwara State. They don’t appear to have any central tribal authority above the level of village head.
5. Who or what might suffer from yellowhead disease?
   Prawns, particularly giant tiger prawns (Penaeus monodon). It’s a viral infection that was first identified in Thailand in 1990 (it has the same name in Thai, หัวเหลือง – hua lueang). It can wipe out an entire prawn farm in days.
