“We made our way round the cavernous atrium to our room. As soon as we walked in we knew we’d got our money’s worth – it was clean and generously sized, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a splendid sea view looking over the Penang Strait.” Kay and Dave find excellent value for money at the Bayview Hotel.
“If you’d rather stay put and unwind, the balcony of our suite offered a great opportunity to do that. What could be better than sitting down with a cold cocktail, a good book, and a view of the cruise liners sailing in stately fashion through the Penang Strait?” Kay and Dave indulge in a spot of pampering at the E&O.
“This was our first trip to Phnom Penh and we had decided to splash out a bit. Billed as ‘Phnom Penh’s most comfortable hotel’, the Bougainvillier seemed like a good bet. At $83 per night for a suite we were expecting something seriously good.” Kay and Dave look at some of the places to stay along Phnom Penh’s Sisowath Quay.
